When looking for the unique benefits retinol provide, you shouldn’t jump on a product just bc it lists a retinoid nor because it compares itself to one.And Bakuchiol is self described as a “natural” form of retinol which is problematic marketing from the jump bc retinol is simply VITAMIN A.
Bakuchiol has not been studied enough to show reliable scientific evidence at this point. When you consider the fact that there’s such a huge difference in using Rx Retinoic Acid vs OTC Retinol and then down the line of retinol derivatives, this is probably the one MOST IMPORTANT ingredient or skincare product you can own and if u havnt found one you like yet, that should be your priority- save your $25 and get a REAL retinol product with a good formula or wait for another sub box with one in it,if that your main draw. Or use the money toward going to your family doctor or dermatologist and getting a Rx for retinoic acid (superhero ingredient) or Retin-A which is a derivative that’s weaker/not as harsh.Otherwise, stick with retinol or if you’re really sensitive, a weaker derivative and slowly work your way up in strength. It can take 12 weeks to notice results but they should continue for ~1 yr before you need to increase dose/strength. The fact is that retinol is PROVEN to be effective by SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE.
Thus, as the body is triggered to produce new cells it produces and gathers up more resources it needs to do this- resulting in a more youthful appearance bc these resources (collagen, elastin etc) are naturally depleted and production of them decreases as one ages.
Retinol in essence keeps the body producing the building blocks of skin and turning over skin cells more than it normally would as long as one continues to use products that trigger this.

Looks like they’re committed to another year of treatments. I just don’t have any more skin to exfoliate!

As soon as I cancel they step up the products. They got me, I’m in for 3 more months.

I know…I just received an offer to renew for another year at 199.00/year which makes the box 16.80 a box. They always seem to reel me back in!

Wow! Nice! Were you a current or previous subscriber? I’m hoping I get that offer, too!

Has anyone tried this?
I tried the acure bukachiol (I know I’m spelling that incorrectly, sorry) from last month and my skin hated it. So now I’m hesitant about that ingredient but I’m curious about others experiences

Not interested anymore. Specially for 23 not worth it. I just have four boxes to go to let them go for good but it seems to be taking so long after all the boxes I keep skipping!

My experience was that when you tell them you’re not renewing, you get the box for the month that you started in and that’s it.
I skipped March (like a lot of people) so I was expecting to get September’s box to fill the quota. I didn’t. I really didn’t want it, so it’s not so bad, I guess.

I hear you, Sara! I have October, November and December and that’s it! I saw the Whish Beauty Lip Balm in Pink Champagne on another site as Spoiler 3. I have a ton of lip balm but I’m a little addicted so that’s OK. I think they will have some great things for the last 2 boxes of the year to tempt people but I’m ending my subscription and will order through Amazon If I really have to have a certain month.

Well, between this and the Kaja eyeshadow it looks like I’m definitely subbing for October’s box.

Can you start including all of the spoilers you’ve already shown up to the latest one like you used to? I don’t want to have to go searching for Spoiler 1 all over the blog while looking at Spoiler 2

Yes, please! One of my biggest dislikes of the new format.

I think there is a 3rd spoiler in their most recent email dated today (if you got the ‘Your September Round Up’ email)…looks like a Whish Pink Champagne Lip Balm maybe full size?

Yup, saw the same thing. Wasn’t super excited about the eye shadow, but like these other two spoilers better.

I actually already have this even though it’s a new launch. I’m about 1/3 of the way through my tube and I’m really really enjoying it. It’ll be nice to have a backup!

This sounds like exactly what I need. I continue to be happy with my Allure subscription after all these years.

You can either call Allure or email them. They will send a replacement.

They sure will but it will take at least 6 weeks. I bought a product from their Member Exclusive offers that leaked all over the inside of the bubble envelope and they’re replacing it- in 4 to 6 weeks. Remind me never to order a major organ from Allure.

Allure should be more like trendmood and seek out new/newer releases like this one. It creates more excitement and makes the box seem more unique. It’s obvious people are tired of receiving the same old stuff so this is heading in the right direction. 👍

I’m willing to try this. I can’t wait until the rest of the spoilers get released. This will be my second box since I just signed up last month. I’m excited!

Do yourself a favor and order through Amazon. If you’re buying a one-off and paying full price, you might as well do it the easy way.

I was wondering when new spoilers would be released…
I’ll try this, don’t care much about eyeshadow, and I am curious to see what else will be included.
