How Hello Fresh Works
Hello Fresh provides customers from all cooking backgrounds with new and exciting recipes that the whole family will enjoy. In order to start receiving your weekly recipes and meals, you’ll first need to select 1-3 meal category options which range from quick and easy to family-friendly and more. After you’ve chosen which types of meals you want to order, you’ll then need to choose the total number of people (2 or 4) that will be served along with your desired number of recipes (2-6) per week. Following the completion of your order, you may then make changes to meals through accessing your online account, using the mobile app, or by contacting customer service.

Is Hello Fresh Worth It?

How Hello Fresh Compares to Other Top Meal Subscriptions
HelloFresh_ VS Factor: Did you know that HelloFresh has another meal delivery subscription service within its company family? While Hello Fresh requires cooking, its sister company Factor comes pre-made and only requires heating. Since Factor is already cooked and prepared, it’s slightly more expensive with prices starting at $11 per meal. It also caters to more specific diets such as keto or 100% vegan meals. HelloFresh on the other hand provides ingredients and their paired seasonings and sauces and offers more generic plans, causing it to be cheaper. It starts at $7.49 per meal.
HelloFresh_ VS Home Chef: Both brands are similar in that their meals require cooking and preparation and they also do not cater their boxes to specific dietary needs. Home Chef starts at $9 per meal, making it slightly more expensive than Hello Fresh.
HelloFresh_ VS BlueApron: Blue Apron also offers a similar subscription box in where its customers are required to cook their meals from scratch. However, it also offers other products such as wine and kitchen accessories. Blue Apron is somewhat cheaper on average and its meals start at around $7.49. However, it offers even less flexibility for people with allergies or strict dietary preferences, making Hello Fresh a better option for people who are vegan or have dietary sensitivities.
