Wantable is a monthly personalized style subscription box service that sends you seven expertly curated items based on an in-depth quiz.

In order to get your one-of-a-kind style box, you must first take an online quiz to narrow down your style preferences. Choose between four of Wantable's Edits: Women's Style, Women's Sleep & Body, Women's Active, and Men's Active before beginning the questionnaire. The quiz asks a range of questions: what type of clothing do you wear, preferences on fabrics, patterns, colors, fit--everything you could think of to help define your personal style.

Once the quiz is complete, a stylist is assigned to your account and begins curating your Edit. Creating your Edit comes with a $20 styling fee, but that fee goes towards any items you decide to keep once you receive your box. You save 20% off everything if you keep 5 or more items. When you receive your box you'll have 5 days to decide what you want to keep for purchase and what you want to return. They also offer free returns and pick-ups.

This is a review of my personal "Women's Style" Edit.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

What I Got in This Month's Personalized Edit

High Rise Cuffed Slim Straight in Med/Light Blue by Vervet - Retail Price $68.00

I love that with every Edit I receive a new pair of jeans. I've said it before, but I feel like my stylists understand my body type and find jeans that fit way better than any pair I've attempted to choose for myself. This straight-leg pair has some fun detailing like the cuffed bottoms and square cutout in the knee. I love the light wash and can see myself pairing these with a cozy sweater for a fresh fall fit.

Heather Knit Shacket in Mauve by Gilli - Retail Price $78.00

I have been wanting a shacket for the longest time. This style came on the scene last fall and I've been looking for the right one ever since. I love that Wantable has all the latest styles to keep me on-trend. Unfortunately, I wasn't crazy about the color or the length of this shacket and while it's incredibly soft I just couldn't justify keeping it for the price if I wasn't in love. Next time I'm going to request a shacket I have my eye on from the Wantable site to make sure I get one of these in my closet this season.

Colorblock Faux Fur Pullover in Beige/Taupe by Hem & Thread - Retail Price $68.00

If you've read my other Wantable reviews, you know I'm a sucker for anything soft and fuzzy. Warm layers I can wear around. the house and outside are a personal fave of mine, and this pullover is no exception. I love the neutral colors and the color-blocking plaid section, it's a cute option to throw on when I need to run errands and I know I'll be living in it all of fall.

Chiffon Ruffle Midi Dress in Clay by Grade & Gather - Retail Price $72.00

I've noticed that these Victorian-inspired silhouettes are making a comeback. While I think it looks amazing on the models, I'm not sure how I feel about it on me. I love the color of this chiffon ruffle midi dress and it's perfect to wear with chunky boots and an oversized coat. I need to experiment with styling this dress because I'm not convinced it's my style; however, I love how the stylists share new and trending styles with you. I wouldn't try this on at a store, but since it was sent to me I gave it a try. You never know what you might end up loving!

Cotton Gauze Tiered Dress in Black by Cotton Bleu - Retail Price $58.00

Another trend I've been seeing: loose-fitting, tiered dresses. This is another style that I don't usually try since it doesn't do much for my body type. It's not my favorite style but I know other women have been loving it for fall, so I get why it was included in my Edit. I would style this dress with a large sweater over top to make it friendly for chillier weather and to give it more of a tiered skirt look. For my next Edit, I can alter my quiz answers to let my stylist know that I wasn't crazy about the looser-fitting dress styles. Quality-wise, this dress feels perfect for fall because it's not thin but it isn't overly heavy which can cause you to sweat on a warmer day.

Cropped Sweater Pant in Ivory by Lucca Couture - Retail Price $78.00

I personally requested these cropped sweater pants and I regret nothing! I love how soft the material is and the baggier design.  I'm not sure how much wear these will get once it gets really cold since they are cropped, but I will wear them around the house, and come spring they will be a perfect pant for daytime activities or brunch. The price of these pants feel spot on, this material looks and feels high quality, definitely a great alternative to the standard "jeans and a cute top" uniform.

Dolman Slv Banded Hem Rib Sweater in Olive by Staccato - Retail Price $59.00

This was my other personal request. I requested a lot of items as I scrolled through the style options, but I was really hoping I'd see this one in my style box. I love the olive color of this sweater and the style is one I do not already own. A top like this usually threatens to fall down your shoulders throughout the day, but the strap in the back secures the sleeves and I never once had to readjust. This is definitely my favorite from this month's Edit.

Verdict

Overall, my experience with the Wantable Style Edit box is always a treat. It ships quickly and I love how thoughtful Alexandra's styling is based on my requests and quiz. Aside from the items in the box, I also love that they provide not only a shipping label to send items back, but also the packaging! I can't tell you how many times I've kept items I don't like simply because I couldn't be bothered to go to the post office and package up items (I know I'm not the only one!). They make it so easy for you to return unwanted items and exchanges are also a breeze.

This Edit was all about experimenting with styles I'm not used to, and I'm happy I was pushed out of my comfort zone. This was also the first box I requested a few items and I'm glad I did.

I love the selections you got. My Nov box was full of very summery or spring items. Coral color tank tops and a sea foam sleeveless dress. They were pretty but not in the least bit Fall appropriate.

I would recommend going back through your quiz and see if you can alter your answers to receive some fall or winter appropriate fits! You should also try the request function and choose a few items you’re interested in!

Are you petite? Almost every sleeve length is super long.

Hi Kristin!

I am not petite–I will say this box definitely had an emphasis on wider-sleeved items; however, they all had elastics or a tighter end that kept me from feeling swallowed up or constantly pushing up my sleeves.
