The 10 Best Tea Subscription Boxes in 2024

Kat Giuffrida
ByKat GiuffridaFeb 5, 2024 | 3 comments

There's nothing I love more than curling up on the sofa to read while sipping on a warm, frothy matcha that's been lightly sweetened with honey. This ritual soothes my mind and body, preparing me for the long week ahead. Green tea has become a staple in my life and I can't imagine how I would unwind without it - so much so that I committed to a tea subscription in order to keep my house stocked with it year-round.

If you're a tea lover like me, then you understand that having your favorite tea on hand 24/7 is required for maintaining your sanity. Unfortunately, you're not always guaranteed to find the types of tea you crave at your local grocery store, and specialty tea shops are harder to come across these days. Hence, signing up for a tea subscription box is one of the few ways you can ensure that you have access to the best tea available today and always have the right amount of tea on hand, no matter what.

Here, we'll take a look at the 10 best tea subscription boxes in 2024. Whether you love loose-leaf or bagged tea, iced tea, or hot tea, there's a subscription for practically all tea preferences. The following monthly subscriptions were voted in our yearly poll as the most popular options among MSA tea lovers.

About the Subscription: We know what you’re thinking: There’s no way they can offer high-quality teas for $1...right? Well, no, not technically, but Dollar Tea Club comes pretty close.

Their subscription program starts at $3 ($1 per tea), but with a $3.99 shipping charge. Still, you’ll get three cups of ethically sourced, high-quality tea for almost nothing. This is a steal compared to what most tea subscriptions cost.

There's also the Sommelier package which comes with a perfect amount of tea to match exactly how much tea you drink per week plus samples of the month. And, just like the Sensei package, you'll also receive tea filters and a free infuser with your first order.

All plans can be canceled anytime, and Dollar Tea Club offers a satisfaction guarantee.

  • The Explorer - $3 per month
  • The Sensei - $14.90 or $22.90 per month (depending on whether you drink 1 or 2 cups per day)

Sipsby has ended and I can’t imagine anything taking its place with the value, customization, and quality they offered. You can still get into the website to check your account, but the site shop is closed too. Some people said they got an email announcing that March was the end, but I didn’t.
